Government Surplus Electronic Components, resistors, diodes, semiconductors,
transistors, capacitors, 1Nseries diodes, 2N series transistors, New Old Stock,
properly stored  for hobby use or perhaps in case of extreme shortage:
government, NSN parts
QUANTITY 2 - RN70B31R6F -- 31.6 ohm  REsistor Fixed Film, 3/4 watt (note: this is mil spec to a certain temp- I think these would take more than that in a
hobby circuit) 500 ppm temp coef of res. - I see these on ebay currently for about $2 each. I will sell for $1.75 each and can be sent in an envelope for $1.50 in
canada or $3 usa.  -- these particular resistors do not have a reliablility failure rating. but they are 1 pct tolerance.
Three little tubular capacitors, two have the part numbers MC71A121K -120 pf
5910-00-901-3908 price to be researched but it will be most reasonable as most of my prices
certainly are. I work alone in the basement of my house..not very much overhead!
RSE-5R50F - .5 OHM 5905-21-862-3360 Above I kept all the old packing and in this case a
small box but THESE items I am cataloguing here are wrapped in a thin plastic bag material
and stored high density style for retrieval. see the pictures below.
MY PRICE $ 3 - SAME AS Surplus Sales of Nebraska sells them for. - My shipping will likely
be less..ie $1.50 across canada and $3 usa
THE original box will be sqashed down flat but can be retrieved if ever anybody wants it. I pack all my items (these government surplus ones in
particular) so that no scratching of the surface occurs when they are stored in bins.
ONe of the drawers where the parts are kept after my examination. Technically..it is
not up to military standards for storage of small electronic parts..BUT..these items
are indoors, the basement has very little static and they are not for use except in
hobby circuits. qty 3 2N404 USAF RCA BRANDED. I HAVE STORED THEM IN HIGH
DENSITY STORAGE.
2N618 TO-3 metal case transistor. new old surplus (govt surplus)
It has a Federal (NATO) stock nr. -- or at least it did before appearing in the
government surplus sale
I have quantity 2 (new old surplus - govt surplus repackaged for more
compact storage and properly catalogued) this is a PNP Germanium ..older
vintage transistor - probably Audio type.
1 Kilohm Allen bradley potentiometer. Either Carbon or what they call Hot Moulded Carbon. Date and Lot code 1984 batch 07 - I have 10 of these new old surplus pots at
$3.75 each. -- These (I think) are house numbered ..perhaps for a special job. I got them with a sample batch of Military/Government surplus that was purchased in a
large pallet. These would be good pots for say..a front end of a receiver..ie often a 500 or 1 kilohm pot is used between the antenna and front end of rcvr so you can
insert some attenuation. Perhaps would be useful in an RF attenuator for low levels of RF (qrp).
Nice government surplus moulded mica 820 pf ..note to self..look up the voltage rating
for this one. May be good at the base of an antenna as a matching component. I have
been told that silver micas seem to work best outdoors in antenna situations. -- for
some reason.
Right pictured. the rather unique
looking resistors with radial leads
and 5600 ohms 1 pct.

I have 7 of these. Long 4 inch
leads.

They have a nato stock nr that I
recorded in my book.
20-01088-001 Varactor diode - 2 gold surface strips for leads NSN 5961-01-0324-2430
-- I see this listed by several suppliers and I would/will have to go RFQ to get a price on what
it might be worth. I took it out of its original packing to take this photo then promptly put it
back in to the original sealed pack. This is not your run of the mill electronic component.
I will only sell to properly certified distributor of similar items. Specifications unknown.
SES 2N4889 (8518) 5961-00-401-0505 black color transistor

Commonly referred to as glob top plastic case.. this one is not the usual
brown color. Military/govt surplus
VS447 FULL WAVE BRIDGE RECTIFIER 5961-00-139-7625
JAN 1N2838B - two lead metal can pack (TO-3) had an american NSN
made in usa - I test parts like these but this is government surplus and
is new old stock. I merely take parts like these and remove all the
excess packaging in order to compress the stocks into small bins for
long time storage and retrieval if/when needed or demanded.
CD4001AD3 - ceramic body and metal label that would likely add heatsinking. If all ICs were built
this way it would be great! Harris semiconductor - The innards are the same design (standard)
Quad 2 input Nor Gate. I would have to dig up a price for this one. Likely my IC tester could test it.
It is straight out of the package govt surplus part - I have qty 2 of these parts
1N1358RA 5961-00-838-1508 qty 2 stud mount metal diodes with all the mounting hardware and solder lug mica washer ect- I repackaged these 2 items carefully in
order to make sure the mica washers do not get damaged and all the mounting hardware and terminals are there. stored in G5 semis bin
2n1926 (8520 DATE/LOT) 5961-21-820-0894 UPDATE: aCTUALLY THERE ARE NOW 15 OF
THESE TRANSITORS IN BIN GS1 (stock from Gaetan).
SC240B - SCR- GE THREADED STUD WITH TWO TOP TERMINALS
5961 21 849 3548
1N3613B - 5961-00-050-2945- PICTURE
ON THIS PAGE - Looks like a Gold finish
TO5 can but has 2 radial leads that are
thick

What I do with these items.. I repackage
them into a smaller package but I label
and store in small parts bins.

I can then (if demanded) retrieve the part.
-- Chances are a lot of this stuff may not
even sell. Prices may have to come down.
I will probably sell all these government
and military parts much less than the
MAIN aftermarket sellers. Try quoting me
the price they give you and I will likely
better it by a fair margin.

RNR60E4701BS - GOLD LEADS - SEE THE TABLE ABOVE TO DECODE THIS PART NUMBER. THIS TABLE
WAS TAKEN FROM A WEB SITE and is easy to find. RNR solderable leads (weldable leads are leads which can
be mechanically bonded by wire wrapping around a square little post) In the case of RNC the leads can be
fastened in both manners -- I used to catalogue and document these types of resistors when I worked in the
Federal Government. So this resistor (pictured left) is size 60 (1/4 watt element), characteristic E which is plus or
minus 25 ppm (which I had all these types of resistors in a my vfo! - value translates into 4700 ohms ( a common
value- note: mil spec resistors dont all fall in the standard resistor values. Mil Spec resistors have their own
specified tables of values. Tolerance is .1 pct (which is pretty amazing) as is the failure rate level .
So this is a real great resistor! Trouble is ..I only have this ONE! All my other resistors are much less complex and
not as termperature stable or of such tight tolerance. NOTE: IF YOU HAVE ANY OF THESE RESISTORS ..I
WOULD BE WILLING TO BUY OR TRADE FOR THEM. 5905-01-256-5755 WAS THE NSN FOR THIS ITEM.

MC4337F - QTY 2 - FLAT PACKS IN SPECIAL HOLDERS-5962-00-136-1903 IN BIN G309 NOTE: I kept them in their original packaging but repackaged the two
together to save space in my storage bins. Stored in Bin G309. I have no price or data on these yet..but they are specialized parts ..probably not often used
by hobbyists..perhaps special equipment end items.

2N3251A (JAN2N3251A) - I HAVE 6 NOW
STORED IN ONE OF THE NTE159 BINS.
ON a small block of black ESD foam.

My price will be a most reasonable $2.75
each.

The 2N3251A does cross reference to NTE
or ECG 159 ..which is a general purpose
PNP transistor.

The 3251 device is higher hfe and higher
FT (frequency rated to around 300 mhz)
vs. the 2N3250.
This data sheet exerp; a screen snip.. is from a commercial web site. I dont advertise for either of these companies. HOwever..I might
mention..I have had very positive dealings with Talon Electronics. I find them to be a very friendly supplier and they have corresponded
with me several times now and Ive bought some parts from them as well.
