1N3491R quantity 2 in my GS1 box of parts (samples); Gaetan has more stock of these - all new old stock - bought by Gaetan (who lives on a farm in central
Alberta Canada.) He has a very nice heated workshop and garage with upstairs and plenty of room. I have never been there but I have seen the pictures
and I have inspected the samples he has sent me. They look just like they would if stored in a Federal Government Warehouse or Canadian Forces Supply
Depot. NOTE: I used to work for National Defence as a civilian in the Electronic Components division and in Nato Cataloguing and I have been to several
storeage facilities to inspect stock and as well..on Initial Provisioning Conferences where new items of supply were being cataloged into the inventory.
I know the system and am helping Gaetan organize his rather large collection of parts. I am also giving him web space to present the stock he holds.
In return..I am getting some items to sell or use for my electronics servicing and building ham radio test equipment and test accessories.
Above and left..5 pictures of a real oldie part.

RV3BTSD 253A (25k ohm A taper) (a real oldie July
1956 Alpha Aracon Radio Ltd) in its orginal Canadian
Forces packing -- no real information on the web or
ebay (perhaps a rare or really obsolete item).
MOD100-4006 00 (900489) THIS IS a Spectrol Servo
Mounted Precision Potentiometer (Gaetan has at
least 5 of these in stock).
I believe he has 47 of these items in stock. Good J
stamped (J is joint army navy) MIL SPEC items or close to it!

Bought from a Government Surplus sale. Gaetan is in
Alberta and his hobby is buying and collecting things
especially older electronics and electronic components.
I sell electronic components as well

3 PF at 5 KV transmitting capacitors. Two different styles. The one above

I haven't dug up prices for everything yet! - Its a big job just to
research these older items to find SPECIFICATIONS and then find
prices. -- BUT.. I will be lower priced than almost everyone else I
would imagine. THAT GOES FOR GAETAN as well.
We are HOBBY
collectors and traders and enjoy going to sales and our over head for
storeage and labour (I am retired from Federal Government) (60 yrs
old now) -- OUR costs are not passed on to the people who deal with
us. WE JUST ENJOY DOING WHAT WE ARE DOING!!
Older tubular capacitor. I take the easy way out now..and just measure
the capacitance! -- USED TO BE..I would go look in the ARRL Handbook
in the components section to find tables and try and figure it out
using a bit of arithmetic! -- NOT any more.... Dont know if this is
necessarily a good thing or not!!
RLR20C4641FS  (4640 OHMS
1 PCT TOLERANCE) Mil Spec
Resistor (qty 100 in bin with
general stock resistors);
Gaetan also likely- These are
1/2 watt and note that the MIL
spec resistors dont
necessarily follow the
standard resistor values.
Sometimes they do and
sometimes they vary in value
somewhat.
I have 100 in a bin and I can
sell them here and there for
very reasonable prices and
low postage.
I went searching for tables ..like the one to the
right for the RLR resistors.. but I didnt find one.
Anyways..these are good silver mica capacitors. I
have about 25 and can spare some for builders
and hobbyists and tinkerers ect Good Government
surplus NEW OLD STOCK
5962-01-126-3168 - 400 pieces - I looked this NSN up and it seems to be
a LM248 type of device -- I dont know if I have any samples of this but I
would wager that it is a LM248 dual in line package ceramic dip more
than likely. The RNCC 3 and RNVC 2 (prime reference number) is a
document or drawing and I dont have it here. I did download the LM248
data sheet and a screen snapshot below. Gaetan has plenty of stock of
these items and would sell at a very reasonable price.
9321DM; is as per table above; a dual 1of 4 line decoder and it is military grade ceramic dual in line package.

IF You have any questions about the interchangeablity of different temperature range devices and different
generic devices ect..please feel free to ask. I have worked with these components in the Military Supply
system (as a Technical Specialist in this area) a civilian and took early retirement option in 2004. I know many
of the scenerios from my past dealings with Technical people in the Military and the contractors who used to
supply these items and support to the military. I have seen what works and what is not good practice and I
have a fairly good long memory in this regard.
I am still carrying on working with this stuff ..especially now since I have teamed up with Gaetan who has
purchase a large collection of these items ..through his hobby of visiting Government Asset sales.

more stock of these
items.
601-315-05 5905-21-878-8185 10 Kilohm potentiometer with switch -  I have qty 2 in bin GS1-

ONE of the most demanded items from ham radio people are potentiometers --
something like this one. 10 kilohms with a switch. Often just the switch fails and they
need to replace the pot.

If the manufacturers were real nice -- they would keep a good stock of front panel
controls like these because with all the times we turn on and off our equipment and
adjust the volume..they just wear out! -- I have some spare parts like these for certain
radios and I am on the prowl at ham radio flea markets and on line sales for more.
Junker radios as well. I take them in and have a go at fixing them.
IF THEY AREN'T
WORTH FIXING..THEN I PART THEM OUT! - I make a few bucks here and there to help
pay for hobby supplies and the odd piece of test equipment and so forth.
